Yesterday Annie the shepherdess stopped me in the village, and asked us not to land in our usual (unofficial) landing field as the long grass in it is being grown for sheep food.
It won’t be for long. Everything’s growing so fast it will almost certainly be cut within weeks.
We’ve been so spoilt, enjoying hiking and flying from Cipieres to the Cheiron 400 launch (just above the official 300) and landing back in time for coffee at 9am, with no-one complaining.
The new temporary plan is to drive to Greolieres and hike to the 700 launch, or the summit, and fly back to Greo before driving home. I think we’re pretty lucky really to have such great opportunities on the doorstep!
